Welcome to the Kujawiak Polish Children's Dance Society
The first step of your child's dance education

General Information

KUJAWIAK Polish Children's Dance Society was formed by Dr. Walenty Michalik in 1984 with the purpose of teaching very young children, aged 3 and up, the elements of dance and rhythm using Polish folk dance as the primary vehicle.

Every year there are around 60 to 70 children who participate in these classes. Children in KUJAWIAK are from schools across Edmonton, including the pre-school and elementary grades of St. Basil Edmonton Catholic School - the only Polish immersion school in Canada, and the Maria Chrzanowska Saturday School, but all are welcome.
